Insurance Coverage for Eating Disorders

Insurance and the EDCMT

We are willing to work with each and any insurance company. Treatment is authorized for patients on a case by case basis and a single-case agreement is requested from insurance carriers who EDCMT is not currently in network with. Interested parties may contact the EDCMT for assistance in checking insurance benefits and initiating authorization for treatment in IOP.

Plan Ahead

Call your insurance carrier ahead of time to establish your deductible, co-payment, co-insurance, and out of pocket maximum for your specific plan. Ask about your benefits for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) treatment for eating disorder as well as your mental health benefits for outpatient mental health and nutrition counseling.
