Carolyn Belt, MSW, SWLC

Psychotherapist

Carolyn has her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and is working to get her LCSW. Previously, she has worked with domestic violence survivors in a court-setting as an advocate, volunteered with the Crisis Text Line (988), and led support groups for cancer survivors and their loved ones. Through these experiences with different populations, Carolyn has learned more about human resilience and the joy of seeing individuals explore their strengths. Carolyn is passionate about using a strength-based and individualized approach with all patients. Every patient is an individual with a unique life experience which has led them to where they currently are. Carolyn’s theoretical background gives her a unique perspective and understanding of how societal, environmental, social, and genetic factors can impact an individual’s development. Her goal as a therapist is to offer a non-judgemental, healing space where patients can show up for themselves and explore new insights with warmth. As a therapist, she believes it is a privilege when patients trust her enough to share their vulnerabilities and let her into their lives. Carolyn chose to work at EDCMT because she believes in the holistic model, therapeutic approaches, and mission to help people live their lives to the fullest! She sees patients at all levels of care in the Bozeman office.
