Christina Donaldson, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Christina (Tina) Donaldson is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who did her graduate work at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she received an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. In addition to her position with the Eating Disorder Center of Montana, she also has a private practice in Santa Barbara, CA and is an Adjunct Faculty member at Antioch University in the M.A. Clinical Psychology Program. Dr. D provides adolescent and adult and family therapy along with co-leading our caregiver program groups, providing clinical supervision, and group therapy in our virtual IOP programs. Dr. Donaldson has over twenty years of experience working with adolescents in a myriad of settings including wilderness therapy, educational programs, eating treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, community counseling centers, and in the dance community.

She has been treating individuals and their families outpatient and at higher levels of care since 2006. She understands the complexity of mental health issues and the challenges that individuals and their families face in dealing with eating disorders. Dr. Donaldson has a deep passion for research, teaching, and the creative arts, especially the intersection between science and the creative arts. Her work with eating disorders focuses on the alignment within the intricate connection between the mind and body, assisting individuals in finding their unique sense of creativity, health and wellness within this relationship. She is drawn to the unwavering dedication, open-hearted approach, and compassionate efforts of the EDCMT team and feels a strong affinity for our vision of helping our patients live out loud.
