Jeni Gochin, LMFT, LCPC, CEDS
Founder

Jeni co-founded EDCMT in 2013 with a vision of making comprehensive eating disorder treatment and a recovery community accessible to Montanans, and over the past thirteen years has built it into the only facility offering in-person higher levels of care in Montana.

Jeni holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, licensed in Montana and California, and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP).

Born and raised in South Africa, Jeni began her career in eating disorder treatment in 2007 on the Central Coast of California, working in intensive levels of care before bringing that experience to Montana and founding EDCMT. She has spent nearly two decades supporting individuals and their families in their recovery, and remains committed to the belief that people can become free from the grips of eating disorder symptoms when held within genuinely wraparound care.

In her current role as Founder, Jeni provides strategic and operational oversight of the clinic, ensuring that the values and standards she built EDCMT upon continue to guide every level of care.
